Ingredients

4 | dried figs, halved and destemmed |
4 oz | tomato sauce // marinara sauce |
¼ cup | onions, chopped |
1 tsp | garlic, minced |
2 T | apple juice |
1 T | olive oil |

½ tsp | thyme, dried |
¼ tsp | salt |
¼ tsp | black pepper |
to taste | harissa paste // hot sauce (optional) |
Process
- place all ingredients in Instant Pot
pressure: low
time: 10 minutes
release: 10-15 minutes natural release
Notes
- I used frozen, thin chicken breast directly, without thawing first
- It made a fair amount of soupy sauce, which I used to make couscous
- to do this, replace ½ the water used for the couscous with the sauce / liquid from this recipe
